The motif for the Annual Christmas Plate from Royal Copenhagen is as always the work of Sven
Vestergaard. The artist has given us pleasure with his strong and beautiful narratives about our
history and nature for more than 20 years. For 2011, the artist has taken the story of Copenhagen's First Christmas Tree as his inspiration. The Christmas plate shows the beautiful tree and a boy watching out expectantly for Santa Claus. When is he going to come?
