Design House Stockholm Harri Koskinen Block Lamp
| Tweet |
When the Block Lamp was introduced in 1996, design juries and lovers of beautiful objects took it to their hearts, where it has remained.
The Block Lamp, designed by Harri Koskinen, is still one of Design House Stockholm's most popular products.
With its unique features and Scandinavian touch, it has been part of the Museum of Modern Art Design department collection since 2000.
Each part of the block lamp is hand cast and it undergoes an extremely long cooling process to avoid cracking later on if exposed to strong temperature changes. The matt bulb shape is sand-blasted. The electric bulb is included. Meets USA household electrical standards.
