Kay Bojesen Children's Cutlery
The Danish Silversmith Kay Bojesen was one of the pioneers of Modern Danish Design. In 1938 he designed his classical cutlery which was awarded the Grand Prix at the Triennale in Milan in 1951. Kay Bojesen designed a number of pieces especially for children, which even today are still unsurpassed in design and function.
"Round and angular handles are tiring to eat with, because they roll between the fingers and irritate the palm of your hand. The flat handle, however, rests very differently and correctly on your fingers and in the hand." - Kay Bojesen
