| Lotta Glave Lotta Glave is an illustrator and designer. She constantly develops her way of expressing herself and her starting point is humour and joy. Lotta's aim is to create designs, which are personal. Glave, who stems from Malmö believes a lot of her inspiration comes from her Austrian grandmother who worked as an illustrator and bookbinder. Their home was always filled with fun, homemade creations like fantastic doll’s houses made out of lacquered paper! I love stuff that is fun, different and makes you happy, says Lotta who got drawn into the family business when Bengt asked her to draw an angel. Like Bengt’s animals, Lotta’s angel has spread from candleholders and Christmas tree decorations to necklaces and fabrics. Nowadays, Lotta designs most of the patterns; designs that are appreciated all over the world, not least in Japan and the U.K. shop designer's work |
| Klippan The family run business Klippan Yllefabrik was started when Jens Petter Magnusson bought a wool spinning mill at Klippan in 1879. The business grew from year to year and Klippan Yllefabrik's main business was to manufacture and sell yarn for hand weaving and yarn for industrial use until the 1980's. Today, the fourth and fifth generation is working side by side developing the company. The Klippan philosophy is to combine Swedish design with our long tradition of textile knowledge. The company has developed a textile collection in collaboration with famous Swedish designers. All our blankets and throws are manufactured in Klippan’s own factory. Klippan strives to use natural material in their products and try to use eco-material as much as possible. Since the 1970's Klippan Yllefabrik has become of Scandinavia's most modern textile and wool producers. |
