Rosendahl Kay Bojesen Wood Figures
The Bojesen family terrace at Bella Vista was full of flowers, rattan lounge chairs, parasols – and birds. These birds were stumbled upon in a photo from the Bojesen family album. Further searching lead to the discovery that there existed five original birds. Mr. Bojesen designed the birds in the 1950’s but never got around to producing them.
From these five, and a little group of birds glued to a painter’s stirring stick, we have combined Mr. Bojesen’s colors to bring you six joyful hand painted Songbirds.
Kay Bojesen's world-famous wooden figures are classic gifts for children and adults alike. Each character is hand-crafted by expert craftsmen and furniture makers, and have movable parts. When you give or receive a Kay Bojesen you can take pride in its Scandinavian authenticity.
