Back in the 1980's, Christel created figurines of the twelve astrological signs of the Zodiac, supremely capturing the special characteristics of each one. Twelve girls appear in Christel's own inimitable and sensual style, lovingly combining innocence and decadence. The signs of the Zodiac were made in Rome where, towards the end of her artistic career, Christel became more and more interested in sculptural work.This figurine series of 12 astrological signs of the zodiac is produced in white or black unglazed biscuit porcelain. Height: 7-10 inches. Handmade in Denmark.
