The soft light of candles brings a certain magic to a room, especially at Christmas time. Add some seasonal hygge to a tabletop, shelf or windowsill with this set of two 18 karat gold plated tea-light holders, each intricately decorated with a cut-out design featuring delicate leaf and ice flower motifs. The flickering candlelight through the holes creates ever-changing patterns around the holder, adding an extra element of movement.
When Danish born Sanne Lund Traberg was given the task of designing Georg Jensen's 2020 Christmas Collectibles, she looked to her own winter garden and also the striking floral photographs of Karl Blossfeldt for inspiration. The results show her true understanding of the magic of Christmas, combined with a contemporary rethinking of traditional imagery.
The two tea-light holders are made from stainless steel which is then plated in 18 karat gold in Georg Jensen's own workshop in Denmark.
