When we surround ourselves with photographs of important memories, a good frame gives our images substance, but never detracts from the picture itself. Designed by Georg JensenÕs design team, our new line of picture frames is created with this philosophy in mind.
Classic, timeless and crafted with the same painstaking attention to detail that characterizes all Georg Jensen pieces. The four picture frame designs are made from stainless steel and dark grey ABS. Held together with magnets, the innovative assembly allows for easy arrangement and versatility Š and thanks to a built-in stand, they can be displayed both horizontally and vertically on either a tabletop or can be easily mounted on a wall. The bold lines of the frames exude the same precision and restraint found in our cutlery, hollowware and jewelry for picture perfect decoration.
The collection was extended in the fall of 2013 with the two Deco frames, which elegantly present the image in a classical white paspartu.

The philosophy of Georg Jensen himself was to create democratic designs possessing both functionality and beauty. His artisanal skill and artistic talent combined with his continuous ability to identify and support design talent was the foundation on which he built Georg Jensen in Copenhagen in 1904.
Georg Jensen’s style embraced the Art Nouveau lines of the day but injected them with a distinctive vigour that continues to resonate today. Serene flowing forms are enriched by exquisitely sculpted ornamentation and his stylised bouquets of flowers and lush bunches of grapes reflect his sensual delight in nature. Our most important task is to leverage the ideas and principles of the master himself and translate these into the design of the present day.
