  • Ilse by legendary award-winning designer Ilse Crawford is comprised of universal objects that feel special and valuable. Each piece is designed with a specific function in mind, but can easily be adapted to whatever the user has in mind. No matter what, they will frame the activity, bringing a sense of care, meaning and depth to a daily ritual. Daily rituals are an essential part of every day life. They are the moments we rely on to give our lives a framework and to give us a sense of wellbeing that ultimately translates to happiness. With Ilse, Ilse Crawford broadens the horizons of everyday items. Using materials such as solid copper, steel, brass and glass to create smooth, beautiful finishes, she creates a powerful link to our emotions and reinforces the connection between the heart, head and the hands. Copper and brass is living material, which in time will change the color of the products and add a beautiful patina.

The Ilse collection also includes two bowls. The black glass bowl holds your precious items, it has a mystical and poetic character with a great depth and the delicate crafted and well-balanced bowl made from solid brass can be used in many ways. A place for your jewelry, to hold cufflinks, earrings and keys.
Ilse CrawfordIlse Crawford was originally a magazine editor for British Elle Decoration, which she introduced in 1989. Serving as an international decorating tome, it combined modern furniture with personal creativity. Eventually turning towards interior design, Crawford’s projects began with her London loft and the Soho House in New York. Her design aesthetic is shaped by functionality and lifestly, placing an emphasis on the emotional value of objects and the surrounding interiors. "When I look at making spaces, I don’t just look at the visual. I’m much more interested in the sensory thing, in thinking about it from the human context, the primal perspective, the thing that touches you." Crawford’s London office, Studioilse, encourages sustainability thorough collaborations with local artists and manufactures.
