The yearning for a leisurely pace of life merges with a quiet design statement in the popular 24h tableware range. The series was originally designed for designer Heikki OrvolaÕs own use and found its way to Arabia assortment in 1996.

Finnish designer duo Helorinne & Kallio were given a brief to get inspired by ArabiaÕs strong tradition in ceramic pattern making and to make a fresh pattern suited for todayÕs consumers. They found inspiration for Tuokio from ArabiaÕs strong expertise in ceramics and took advantage of the opportunity to learn from the best professionals in the field at the Arabia factory.
