Created by acclaimed designer Lena Bergström and Swedish glassmaker Orrefors, Sarek is a collection of handmade crystal glassware representing the best of modern Scandinavian design. It is inspired by the shapes and designs found in the small wooden boxes made of plaited birch bark from people in northern part of Sweden, particularly its distinctive diamond-shaped patterns, while the combination of pale ash with crystal is a contemporary Swedish mix of materials.
