As with the wall clocks, the dial and the front part of the case are produced as a single piece. Accordingly, the time graduations are imprinted directly on the dial. The wrist watches also have the same concave shape as the wall clocks. Similarly, the watch movement is located at the rear, and this part not only serves to retain the movement but also partly to retain the strap. The black, waxed calf leather strap is held in place using a system specially developed by Rosendahl Timepieces for the collection.

The Arne Jacobsen wrist watches are not only an elegant re-interpretation of Danish design history, they are also the herald of a brand-new generation of Arne Jacobsen’s ideas, alongside ‘The Egg’, ‘The Swan’, ‘The Ant’, ‘The Series 7’ and all the other design icons from the hand of the master.

Service, including changing the battery, must be undertaken by an authorized AJ Watch dealer.
Arne JacobsenArne Jacobsen (1902—1971) is one of the most influential Danish architects and designers of the 20th century. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in Copenhagen, where he was also a professor of architecture for a long period.

Arne Jacobsen put his modernist stamp on architecture and design for more than 50 years—not only in Denmark but also internationally. His output was enormous, originating in a philosophy of creating total concepts, where everything was thoroughly designed, with a common thread running through all his work—buildings, furniture and other interior decor. Arne Jacobsen's productions are more relevant than ever—and have enjoyed a strong revival over the last 20 years. He embodies the balancing act of elite creator and household name.
