  • Lovers of design classics are in for another treat. Ever since the 1960s, bar accessories from Arne Jacobsen's Cylinda-Line have defined the good life when it comes to serving everything from the perfect martini (shaken or stirred) to classic scotch and soda.

The bar set includes cocktail mixer and spoon, shaker, ice bucket with tongs, two-liter pitcher with strainer, small glass coasters and serving tray.

Paul Smith has transformed Jacobsen's bar series into gorgeous fantasy in black. The special titanium alloy surface lends the steel rich, deep black color. Handles on the serving tray and the ice bucket remain in the original brushed steel finish, creating an effective contrast. Another surprising innovation is collection of statements by the British designer himself, engraved into the black surface to reveal their message in steel. Paul Smith asks us to consider thoughts such as "Take pleasure seriously" and "Start something new" as we enjoy our drinks.

Statement is the ideal gift for the design-loving man or woman who is celebrating special birthday, an anniversary or merely the joy of everyday living.

The black color is titanium surfacing, which gives very hard and durable surface. The statements are engraved through the titanium surface and into the stainless steel.
Arne JacobsenArne Jacobsen (1902 –1971) is one of the most influential Danish architects and designers of the 20th century. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in Copenhagen, where he was also a professor of architecture for a long period.

Arne Jacobsen put his modernist stamp on architecture and design for more than 50 years – not only in Denmark but also internationally. His output was enormous, originating in a philosophy of creating total concepts, where everything was thoroughly designed, with a common thread running through all his work – buildings, furniture and other interior decor. Arne Jacobsen’s productions are more relevant than ever – and have enjoyed a strong revival over the last 20 years. He embodies the balancing act of elite creator and household name.
