Tiles is a study in geometry and groundedness. A collection of tufted rugs in pure wool designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune, with precise patterns that echo the logic of ceramic tiles—geometric fields scaled for the floor. Available in three patterns, Block, Brick, and Slab, each form explores proportion and rhythm through surface and pile. Each pattern is available in six colors: Black Concrete, Rosalia, Oak, Terracotta, Walnut, and Travertine—tones drawn from built material and natural minerals alike.
Since 1995, this Swedish design trio has been globally acclaimed, winning numerous awards in the fashion and design industry. Together with Kasthall, they have worked on multiple projects. This collaboration resulted in the wall-to-wall carpet Pinstripe at the prestigious restaurant Operakällaren in Stockholm, and the sophisticated hand-tufted rug Pinstripe XL, at the lobby of the 5-star Nobis Hotel.
Since 1889, the Kasthall Design Studio in Kinna, West Sweden, has created rugs for all kinds of clients and spaces; from beautiful residences, lux yachts, and exotic hideaways to cool offices, boutique hotels and the Swedish Royal Castle.
In an increasingly standardized world in which products are mass produced, painstaking handwork is more and more rare.
