  • Specifications
Louisiana poster featuring the work, Stretching the Persona (2011), by the New York-based Swiss artist, Ugo Rondinone (b. 1964), also represented in Louisiana's collection. The poster's motif is a video still from the Louisiana Channel's video interview with Rondinone in 2011.

Rondinone's images mutate the body ideals we usually find in fashion magazines. Via self-staging and digital styling, he explores the porous boundaries between reality and fantasy and draws the body into an area where it is no longer anchored in physical conditions, bound by the given realities. A virtual body on the other side of the "analog" gender differences.

The Louisiana Channel is the museum's virtual and 24-hour "wing". Here you will find over 750 videos with our time's leading artists, architects, writers and more. Experience Marina Abramović and Ulay, Pipilotti Rist, Paul Auster, Karl Ove Knausgård, Laurie Anderson, Michel Houellebecq, Sara Stridsberg and many, many more.
