The Roaring Polar Bear
The Roaring Polar Bear is one of the first underglaze decorated figurines from Royal Copenhagen. It was originally created in 1894 by artist Carl Frederik Liisberg. The figurine is hand-painted before it is glazed and fired and it makes for a stunning decor object in your home.
The Seated Polar Bear
Artist Peter Dahl-Jensen originally designed the Seated Polar Bear for Bing & Grøndahl in 1906, and now the beautiful figure is being brought back to Royal Copenhagen's range. The polar bear's observant expression is brought to life by Royal Copenhagen's skilled porcelain painters.
The Walking Polar Bear
The Walking Polar Bear was originally designed for Bing & Grøndahl in 1912 by the artist Niels Nielsen. Over time, both Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grøndahl have often depicted the majestic polar bear as a figure, and the Walking Polar Bear is now being brought back to Royal Copenhagen's range after more than 100 years.
