Tradition, like love, is passed on from generation to generation and founder Marta Ingemarsdotter's legacy lives on in these collections. Each and every woven article—from the oldest classic patterns to the newest and most colorful—is made in accordance with our family traditions, to be enjoyed in accordance with yours.
Betty Svensson’s artistic journey began after her education at the School of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg. Betty has a penchant for painting everything by hand, and her ability to handle both watercolor and gouache with skill is impressive.
For many years, Ekelund Linneväveri has had the privilege of working with Betty. Seeing the final textiles take shape, going from sketches to beautiful textiles is an incredible reward, according to Betty.
